Community Guidelines

Let's make this one to remember.

We're all set to make the Bordon Soap Box 2025 a roaring success, and we need your help in keeping the event fun and safe for everyone. To ensure an unforgettable experience, here are our community and spectator guidelines:

Let's Keep it Tidy:

Let's keep our beautiful community clean and green! Please dispose of trash responsibly in the provided bins and help us keep the area litter-free.

Toilets Location:

Need to answer nature's call? No worries! The toilet facilities are conveniently located for your comfort at the top of Chalet Hill in Reseller Avenue.

Residents:

We're guests in this fantastic community, so let's be courteous to the residents around the track.

Bins Provided:

Keep the soapbox track spick and span by using the bins provided for your convenience.

Lost?:

Accidentally wandered off? If you find a lost little one, please bring them to the AV tent, and our team will take care of reuniting them with their loved ones.

Courteous to Smaller Viewers:

Our little spectators are just as excited as you are! Be mindful of their view and ensure they get a chance to catch all the action.

Keep Off Fence (Standing on Fence):

Safety first! Refrain from standing on the fence to prevent accidents and ensure everyone's safety.

Keep Off The Track:

While it may be tempting, remember that the soapbox track is for racers only. Let's cheer them on from the sidelines!

Cash Buckets and QR Codes:

Support local charities, military connections, and worthy causes by generously contributing to the donation buckets or by scanning the QR codes provided.

Respect 4 Residents (R4R):

Let's maintain a positive rapport with the residents by being considerate and respectful.

Illegally Parked Cars:

Make sure your vehicles are parked in designated areas only to avoid any inconveniences.

Community Spirited Pick Up:

Let's leave no trace of our presence! Be community-spirited and help with any litter pick-ups as needed, including our final 'big clean' at the end of proceedings.

FREE Parking at The SHED (First Come, First Serve):

We've got you covered with free parking at The SHED, but be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.

Road Closures  and Access:

The A325 from Budds Lane Round About across to the Traffic Lights at Tesco will be closed from 6:00am > 6:00pm.

Chalet Hill Roundabout down to Forest Road Turning will be closed from 6:00am > 6:00pm.

Noise Awareness:

It's an early start for the SOAPBOX Volunteers but we will keep noise to a minimum during the setup phase at 4:00am
